Electromagnetic Compatibility

André Consulting, Inc. is incorporated in the state of Washington for the purpose of providing engineering consulting services primarily in the fields of Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC), and Sound Design.  Other areas of science and technology are addressed on individual basis.

EMC Services offered include:

Design support during circuit design, PC board layout, and packaging. 
Analysis of Conducted and Radiated emissions and susceptibility/immunity.
Review designs and provide advice regarding existing equipment in a situation of non‑compliance with emphasis on minimizing changes and impacts to the design.
Customer meetings, presentations, representation, and the like, regarding EMC issues.
Preparations of EMC Test Plans and Control Plans.
Design and setup of EMC testing laboratories.
Training of personnel in EMC design and test techniques.
Support of qualification and development EMC tests at EMC test laboratories.

Patrick G. André has been engaged in the field of EMC as a professional since 1983.  He has a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Seattle University, with extensive post graduate work in Electrical Engineering and Physics.

Rates for EMC services are charged with a 4 hour/day minimum for Seattle area clients and an 8 hour/day minimum elsewhere.

Travel time for EMC clients outside King and Snohomish counties is charged one way.

Expenses, if applicable, are charged at actual cost.

Sound Design and Engineering
Services in Sound Design and Sound Engineering and Recordings are negotiated on an individual basis.
